Terms of service
Written to be read. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you sign up rather than after.
1. Who we are
Rizekit provides business registration, compliance, brand, legal, web and finance services to micro, small and medium enterprises in Nigeria, through a platform that combines automated drafting with review by qualified professionals.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has access to it.
3. Plans and payment routes
Every plan is sold on a choice of two payment routes and never a combination. You either pay annually, or pay monthly on a minimum twelve-month term. The monthly rate is exactly one tenth of the annual rate, so paying monthly costs 20% more across a year and paying annually earns the equivalent of two free months. Both routes are renewing subscriptions.
Year one includes the setup and delivery work described in your tier. Renewal years continue platform access, CAC annual returns and tax filings, compliance monitoring, brand asset refreshes and priority support.
4. Payment
Your first charge is payable in full at sign-up. Work begins once that payment clears. Rizekit is strictly pay-before-service: we do not extend credit, and there is no balance to settle later.
5. Pay before service
Rizekit operates strictly on a pay-before-service basis. There is no revolving credit, no customer credit period and no debt collection process. Monthly subscriptions and wallet top-ups are paid in advance.
6. Statutory fees
Fees payable to third parties, including the Corporate Affairs Commission, the Nigeria Revenue Service, SMEDAN, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, NAFDAC and the Standards Organisation of Nigeria, are passed through to you at cost and are shown to you before anything is submitted.
Statutory fees are not refundable once submitted to the relevant authority. This is disclosed at sign-up and shown on every receipt.
7. Revisions
Two rounds of revision are included with every delivery order. Your dashboard shows how many you have used. Additional rounds may be purchased as an add-on service.
8. Delivery timelines
We publish an expected delivery date for every order. Where a timeline depends on a third party, a registry, a regulator or a bank, we cannot guarantee that party's turnaround, and we will tell you when something is waiting on them rather than on us.
9. Professional review
Documents produced on the platform are first drafted automatically and then reviewed and signed off by a qualified Nigerian professional before delivery. Anything requiring professional judgement is flagged for that review.
Nothing on the platform is legal, tax or financial advice until a qualified professional has reviewed it and confirmed it for your circumstances.
10. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us the limited right to use it to perform the services you have asked for. Ownership of work we deliver passes to you on payment in full.
11. Data protection
We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and our privacy policy.
12. Cancellation
You may cancel a renewing subscription at any time before its renewal date. Amounts already paid for a period in progress are not refunded, because the work and platform access for that period have been provided.
13. Limitation of liability
Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the total fees you have paid to Rizekit in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. Where a change materially affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect.
